It's discouraging to think how many people are shocked by honesty and how few by deceit. Yet, solace is found in the lies we tell each other, comforted by the peace of knowing that we're not alone in our depravity, and once on this path, sin itself becomes the lesser of two evils masked in a cloud of normalcy.

This is how Duplicity has functioned since the beginning. The divide of power and social standing is overt in that Dominants influence the decisions made both publicly and privately while Submissives cater to the rules presented to them. It is the way of Duplicity to assign random designations at birth with no leeway in altering what has been given. Climate in the Up is far stricter than that of the Down; violating outlined personas for a Dominant or Submissive while in full view of others is punished by degree of infraction. In the Down, many tend to turn a blind eye to these sorts of offenses.

To counteract the discovery of the Deceit Gene – a natural "negative" response to all stimuli – the L.I.E.S. program was founded. The program had been designed to introduce new subjects to the current environment and test for the Deceit Gene through immersion in Duplicity's standing society. Sexual impulses and encounters increase the chances of detecting the gene within these individuals. Participants are typically released from L.I.E.S. after a year; however, results have remained unsatisfactory and testing still continues.

... and you’re here! Finally! Welcome to Duplicity.

After choosing a door and stepping through to the other side, the first thing that greets you are the enthusiastic faces of people in medical scrubs and pristine lab coats. Their enthusiasm translates to eagerness as they strip you of your clothes to perform a thorough examination—you will be healed, bathed, and given a paper gown to wear until your items can be processed and delivered to your residence later in the evening. You are also given a device that accesses the network as well as the time and location of orientation.

If you enter Duplicity into the Up, congratulations! You’re a Dominant, which means you are immediately picked up by a limo after processing and taken to your highrise. Here, it is two Dominants per floor with separate apartments. If you enter Duplicity into the Down, congratulations! You’re a Submissive, which means you are directed towards public transportation with the address of the motel you’ll be living in. Here, it is two Submissives per room with a shared common space for all rooms.

Enjoy your free time until orientation! Participation is mandatory by all new and old arrivals.

Winter is here and snow flurries are common in the Up while the slush collects in the Down.

» » » ALL ABOARD

After stepping through the door and participating in orientation, LIERS are assembled together in the Up for a tour of Duplicity in its entirety. Seats are in pairs and randomly assigned to Dominants and Submissives alike. Traveling from Fiddler's Square, the train journeys through various parts of the Up, showcasing society and examples of lifestyle. Along the way, frequent stops are made; a variety of passengers can be seen exiting and entering the doors. A Dominant with a kneeling Submissive takes a seat near the front of the train at one stop. A small group of Submissives board and sit closer to the LIERS at another, all seemingly content in their roles. As the tour continues through the Up, the train passes close to the Market and White Wall Bridge and zips by North Park before heading into the Down and bypassing Red Wall Bridge and South Park.

The train makes a "final" stop at Riddler's Square, where inhabitants of the Down are instructed to return to their temporary housing. Those who live in the Up are permitted to stay on the train and revisit the same locations while returning.

« « « WINTER WONDERLAND

As a particularly heavy snowstorm blows across the city, Duplicity finds itself blanketed in white. The morning after the storm, many citizens seem to be in a particularly mischievous mood and snowballs are a common sight flying through the air. A projectile meant for someone else may hit you square in the face if you're not careful — and then it's on. Joining these impromptu snow battles is encouraged, no matter a person's designation, and even Submissives teaming up to pelt unsuspecting Dominants with snowballs is generally taken in the spirit of good fun. Not everyone is throwing snow, of course — some are rolling much larger balls and shaping them into lewd snow figures.

Those feeling chilled after playing in the snow may experience the urge to warm up with someone else, skin to skin. Whether they're a stranger or a familiar face, holding hands, kissing, or getting down and dirty with the nearest willing partner is invigorating. It might even be the only way to really feel warm again.

« « « DUBIOUS DELIVERIES

Want to make some quick cash? After exiting the train in the Down, there seems to be a questionable character hanging about the station. Dressed in a trenchcoat and looking more like a flasher than the businessman he claims to be, this shady recruiter offers easy money in exchange for a simple delivery. Just take a package and drop it off at the address on the label. Really, that's it! Stop asking questions.

Should characters decide to open the package themselves instead, they'll discover one of the following: glitter — so much glitter, lube (appears normal, but actually contains hot pepper and will cause more than a mild tingling sensation if used anywhere sensitive), a package of flavored condoms mysteriously labeled "every flavor" (none of them taste good), candy or perfume containing an aphrodisiac that, in addition to the usual libido-boosting effect, will also cause an intense craving for humiliation.

It seems to be one of those services that allows one to send anonymous prank gifts, and they're hiding behind LIERs as couriers. There's no return address or company information on or inside the package, except for a card marked Encoded Sin Corp — which does not seem to be a real company if the name is searched.

Whether characters end up delivering the package — maybe even to a fellow LIER — or get into some trouble along the way, someone is getting a nasty surprise.

« « « SURPRISES FOR SALE

A small winter market has been set up along one of the major streets in the Up with stalls selling a variety of goods ranging from knitted hats and scarves, soaps, scented lotions, candles, jewelry, artwork and assorted crafts to hand-dyed bondage rope and kinky leather accessories. Food and drink stands are plentiful as well. Strings of lights crisscross the street between the roofs of the shops, providing a cheerful glow, and there are tables set up in the street itself for people to sit and chat while having a snack — if they can stand the cold.

Some of the most popular treats being sold are hot chocolate, eggnog, marshmallow snowmen, and sugar cookies decorated like snowflakes. Of course, their popularity may have something to do with the effects they produce when consumed.

• The hot chocolate simply gets one all hot and bothered.
• The eggnog may cause heavy production of sexual fluids, a desire to be filled or covered with someone else's cream, or all of the above.
• The marshmallow snowmen will make those who eat them want to invite others to use them as they please, desiring nothing more than to be molded into the perfect fucktoy.
• The sugar cookies seem to induce all sorts of different cravings — after all, no two snowflakes are alike!

These effects tend to last at least an hour and may, in some cases, last up to a full day.

One of the jewelry shops sells an unusual selection of compass pendants and bracelets. The compass arrows spin round and round lazily while the pieces are on display. Once worn, however, that changes. The arrow will settle on a direction, but instead of pointing north it will lead directly to another person. Perhaps you should speak to them? You may even begin to feel magnetically drawn to them yourself… In the event that two people have compasses that point them at each other, the attraction will be even stronger — nearly impossible to deny.

There is another shop which sells intricately designed pocket watches and small clocks. When these timepieces are stared at for an extended length of time or picked up and handled, characters will feel a brief but strong connection to their past and experience a vivid flashback to some moment that was, in whatever way, meaningful for them. After reliving the memory, they will feel compelled to speak about it to whoever is nearby.

« « « MOD & OOC NOTES

Please read carefully.

On each Test Drive Meme, there will be a section noting character roles; these will vary each TDM. On an IC level, characters will still have gone through the doors but assignments OOCly are still randomized. When applying, there is a section of the application that denotes whether the character chooses "left" or "right." When participating on the TDM, there will be a third option. Players may link either a top level or a thread (five or more comments from their character) from the TDM and title the link as "Door Pass." This means that the player is choosing to take the designation that they were randomly assigned on the TDM, rather than taking the designation of a door. If the player decides to select a door rather than use the pass, then they are trying their luck; they may get the same designation they had on the TDM or the opposite. Once the application is submitted, players can't change their choice.

To assign roles to characters for this TDM, use the following guide:

If your character likes it hot, they are a Dominant. If your character prefers the cold, they are a Submissive.

To Note: Characters can only swap their designation for one of the following reasons: an event occurs that allows it or there are OOC reasons that make it a necessity. Any swap always requires mod approval and each character can only ever switch once. Characters that are being reapped will keep their previous designation but players can choose to use new TDMs with different designations for fun!

Test Drive threads can be used as activity proofs for characters currently in-game.

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

The words don't immediately register, but further explanation eventually has Floyd's face contorting with disgust. It seems he's completely stopped sucking on his candy for now and might even be thinking about spitting it out. Ok, so maybe he did pay some attention during orientation, but he didn't think he'd have to think about all that so soon.

"... Ew," he grumbles before swallowing the last of the hard candy. It's not like Floyd hates the idea of fooling around with land dwellers--after all, he technically does that all the time--but what if he has to fool around with a boring one? Or one a bossy one? Or one that can't handle how hard he squeezes? He'd probably be more into the idea if he wasn't in such a foul mood already.

With a huff, Floyd starts rubbing away at the glitter on his face again until his cheek turns red. "Why would I care about what someone else wants? Thinking about giving them that much attention makes me exhausted." After a beat, "You're not gonna be that generous to some random human, are you, Jade?"

It's not like he's jealous or anything!

"Fortunately, that is not my duty. Even if I wished to generously dote on a Submissive here, I cannot." It's difficult not to chuckle at the reaction, even if it is what he expects. No, Floyd just had a way of humoring him that no one else ever truly managed to do. Azul was close, but they all grew up together so that wasn't too much of a surprise. Jade motions along the street as he starts his walk back toward the street he came from. Better to trace his steps back and get righted while Floyd is at his side.

Yet as he looks him over, he does notice that for once they weren't as similar as usual.

"As for your designation... you were labeled as a Dominant?" It was obvious now that there was no line decorating his brother's throat. How cruel for them to try and separate them. "How curious, however, it is rather convenient."

"Ehh? Jaaade, don't leave meee." Jade isn't walking fast or far ahead, but of course Floyd's going to complain about it anyway before taking one large step so they're side by side once more. Fine, fine, they can walk together or whatever. At least he can trust Jade to pay attention to his woes.

Ugh, and now his throat feels all funny. How is he supposed to eat more sweets if he can't swallow properly? He's in the middle of rubbing his throat when Jade brings up their designations and he's distracted enough to remember he wasn't given any sort of mark like some other people were. But Jade--

"Ah! Jade! You have that funny line on you!" he blurts out, extremely belated. "Tch, that's no fair... I don't wanna take care of anyone." Though when he talks about convenience and all that... Wait a second. Waaait a second. Suddenly, eyes sparkling, Floyd seems to perk up, and he flashes a toothy grin at his brother beside him. "Hey, hey, Jade~ Listen~ I got an idea~" Yeah, so what if Jade already thought of it? He's going to try and take all the credit.

There it is. He was hoping that his line of thought wasn't lost on his sibling.

"Yes, it seems the city decided that I was better suited for a Submissive role. I do not think they are entirely wrong." His own ever present smile is a little more genuine too. A contract wasn't usually something they had with each other... but the city didn't say a partner couldn't be a relative (at least that Jade has heard).

As always, Jade is happy to let someone else take the credit. "And whatever idea would that be, Floyd? I would love to hear it."

They've both been doing Azul's bidding for so long, it's hard to imagine either one of them as anything but Submissive, he supposes. But underneath all that compliance, there's still an air of stubbornness and selfishness that's impossible to shed. Why just Jade though, he wonders? Maybe it's a joke. Whatever the truth, Floyd finds it as annoying as it is entertaining.

"'kay, sooo~ What if we make a contract with each other? That way we won't have to worry about partnering up with some weirdo~" He gently nudges his brother's shoulder and giggles. "I know contracts are way more Azul's thing, but it can't be that hard, right? Aren't I a genius~?"

The affectionate nudges and closeness are relished. As strange as his brother's voice sounds with the effect of the 'helpful candy' provided during orientation, he was still grateful to hear it. After having spent most of the day without him, it was a relief to be near him now.

And even more of a relief to know that they could still be together during this situation without any awkwardness of finding the same Dominant to serve under. "Fufu, you're right, Floyd. You must have been paying close attention during Orientation. I believe your idea would let us prepare for Azul, should he arrive, as well."

He pauses to peek up at the street signs before glancing back down to the box in his gloved hands.

For as much as Floyd hates the monotony of schedules and familiar faces, Jade is an exception for a few reasons, so just as well, he's happy to have him around after a long day. They understand each other better than anyone else in the sea, in the sky, or on land, after all. Who else is he supposed to tell secrets to and share cunning plans with?

"Mn, only at the parts that sounded interesting." His keen sense of memory helps him latch onto details. He's about to add onto that, but then Floyd follows Jade's line of sight and his smile curls into a sharper grin. He definitely looks like he's up to something.

With another laugh, "Hey, hey~ Wouldn't it be funny if Azul shows up with a mark too? Do you think he'd hate it~?" he asks while he eyes the box in Jade's hands.

Imagining Azul with a Submissive mark widens the polite smile on Jade's lips to a slightly more mischievous one. Considering Azul's self-gained affluence, it would be quite a sight to see him fall back to square one again. Would he handle it well this time? It was difficult to tell.

It would be interesting, at least. "My, he would be quite lucky to have you in your position, then. I am sure you would not leave our dear friend to hide in a pot down here. It would be interesting to have the upper hand for once."

Not that he thought either of them would do anything with it, but it would still be fun to see how Azul adjusted to this sort of treatment. Especially since he was expected to do oh so much here. In that same vein...

"Will you be alright here, Floyd? I worry that some of the rules here might be a bit much for you."

Those are the exact thoughts coursing through Floyd's mind as well. It took Azul quite a bit of blood, sweat, and tears (a lot of tears) to get to where he is now and imagining him starting over from scratch has him internally wriggling with amusement. Not to mention he'd have to rely on Floyd for a change.

"Right~? He'd have to do what I say~ Eheheh~" Well, he's used to telling other people what to do, but Azul? Mm, that would be new territory.

He's lifting his hand, ready to snatch that box away, when Jade interrupts him and Floyd offers his brother a pout. His fingers come up to rub at his neck instead. "Hnn, why do you have to remind me?" he whines. "Restrictions are such a pain in the ass. I wanna do all the squeezing! Maybe if there's an ocean around, I can hide out in it..."

After a beat, "And I'll make you come with me as part of our contract, y'know? You hate structure as much as I do!"

"Unfortunately, I heard we are discouraged from visiting the ocean here. I heard from another Submissive that it was potentially dangerous." And when he'd walked by he was told he shouldn't go in... which was like telling a fish to suffocate. The thought of staying away from water so long was beyond worrying--especially considering their human form was brought on by the use of potions.

He was assured that he could be provided with what he needed to look human, but he'd felt a strange warmth in his body ever since. Perhaps it was one of the many things that they had laced here.

"We will both have to fulfill our duties as Dominant and Submissive at least 3 times a month. I wonder if you will end up in trouble..." Not that Jade was positive in his own abilities, but he at least could force it if needed. Floyd was the sort who would rather throw himself on spikes than listen to someone else's demands if he was in a bad mood. Being told to have sex was the quickest way to make the merman lose all interest. "I am sure they are quite strict with their Dominants."

The box in his hand is still fairly open to potential disaster.

"Ehhh? Not even the ocean!?" Floyd might enjoy the land a little more than his brother, but that doesn't mean he doesn't miss diving down into the depths and being in his element from time to time. And on that note, just how the heck are they supposed to keep these land fins anyway without potions? Ahh, it's way too much to take in at once and, mood thoroughly tanked again, Floyd clicks his tongue and kicks at a hunk of snow as they walk past.

And of course he says what Jade suspects him to. "Hnn, so annoyiiiing... I'd rather throw myself on some spikes than listen to someone else make dumb demands of me. Tch. How bad can their punishment even be though?" Grumbling and now shivering a bit from the cold, Floyd eyes that box one more time before making a sudden swipe for it. Now he really wants whatever sweets are in there.

"Gimme."

The box is quickly swung away from Floyd and held more firmly.

"Floyd, I was trusted with this box to be delivered. The contents aren't yours to eat." Does he sound scolding? No? Well, he was never good at scolding Floyd to begin with... and really it wasn't like he particularly cared about the contents of the box or who they were supposed to go to.

"I was told that money for an uncontracted Submissive is hard to come by. I should at least attempt to earn my keep."

Floyd doesn’t even bother whining. He just clenches his jaw and makes another grab for it, this time maneuvering in such a way he ends up standing at his brother’s other side on the street. “Don’t care,” he grumbles. He doesn’t even care if whatever’s in there keeps his throat numb for hours. He just wants to sink his teeth into something!

“How much farther is this place anyway? It can’t be that worth the cash…” Ugh, he does sound stupid with this numb tongue now.

It was difficult to say no to Floyd when he was like this, but then again it was difficult to say no to him in general. Jade preferred the times they were on the same page, but this side of his twin was cute. Not that anyone else would ever agree with him on that.

The package is handed off to Jade's opposite hand to continue the, most likely ill-fated, game of keep away.

"Our money is no good here, Floyd. Any addition to our finances is a positive one." He smiles, free hand rustling the hair of his brother's head. "If I let you peek, will you be satisfied?"

Most people fear the twins more than anything, but it's not like they've ever cared one way or another. It's far too easy to use that fear to their advantage and save the fun for each other anyway, right?

"Mouuu, Jaaade!" Floyd complains and just before he's able to snatch the box away, that hand plops atop his head and he's almost immediately given a compromise. Heheh. He knew his brother wouldn't be able to refuse him for long.

As usual, his mood is quick to shift, and he hovers close with his hair now standing on end in all the wrong places. "Really~? Then... yeah~ Come on, lemme see, lemme see!"

A peek shouldn't hurt and Jade was fairly confident that the cold had made the tape loose enough that he could explain away anything so long as the contents inside remained, well, inside. He doubts it's anything particularly unsavory, though perhaps someone got off on watching young people deliver their questionables.

The box's tape is carefully and meticulously pulled before being offered in Floyd's direction.

Inside is a multitude of condoms labeled with things like 'paprika', 'coriander' and 'basil', along with a rather nice looking bottle of perfume (or perhaps lubricant--it's difficult to tell). Tucked alongside is a package of more of the candies that Floyd probably has shoved in his pockets somewhere that are of the less numbing and more arousing variety. "There. Was it worth the look?"

Considering the contents of Floyd's own box were pretty boring, he doesn't have high hopes for Jade's to be any different. Even so, he accepts it with a gleeful smile and a giggle then peels the flaps back with a triumphant, "Ta-dah~!"

Curious, he peers at the contents and hums as he reads some of the labels. Huh. Wouldn't someone rather taste all that on... y'know... food? Floyd may not seem like much of a food connoisseur, but truthfully he's got quite the refined palette, you know! There's a reason Azul trusts him with making Mostro's menu. But all this? Down there?

With a sigh, Floyd hands the parcel back over to his brother, but not before stealing one of the hot pepper flavored condoms so he can examine it closer. And the little package of drug-laced candies. "Not really," he mutters as he reads the packaging and leans against Jade's side. "Hehhhh... Humans are so funny, aren't they? Why make it so complicated? Wouldn't it be easier to just step on someone if they wanna hurt so much?"

"They do seem to avoid the obvious answer for a lot of things... Perhaps human sexuality is more complicated than we originally thought," The box is easily accepted and Jade works on smoothing the tape carefully back over the flaps. Sure, there was a condom and some complimentary candy missing, but the 'valuable' item (or so he assumes) is there. Anything to keep his dear Floyd happy and get the box delivered.

It's strangely comforting to have Floyd here with him now. He had been relieved before when he thought he wasn't (for Floyd's sake), but now that he is it just feels right.

He can do anything if his twin is close by. "Mating processes on land seem much more complicated than in the sea... they don't even offer seashells to show their affections. I heard they do it with rocks here."

"They're so weird. When I want something, I just go for it, y'know? What's so complicated about doing that?" Of course, Floyd knows not everyone can be as forward and carefree as him, especially not a land dweller with all their many constrictions and rules. For as much as he enjoys being on land, the freedom of the sea still calls to him from time to time.

Well. At least he has Jade here to make life easier, right? That in mind, he rips into the bag of candy he stole from the box and picks out a piece to see if it can help ease the annoying numbing sensation in the back of his throat. There's zero attempt to triple check the ingredients; he simply pops one candy onto his tongue and snickers.

"Ehehe~ They're just like penguins~ Or maybe it's like that one time I made a shiny rock in Alchemy class and gave it to Azul~! He seemed to really like it. D'you think he thought I had a thing for him or something~?" Their boss always seems to know a little more about the land than they do. Then, nonchalant, "This place doesn't look like a city full of affection and romance though."

"That's true. Physical engagement is the priority here. Which is... unfortunate." Unlike Floyd, Jade was less enthusiastic about such things. In this case he was willing to do it if he had to (and if it is the law as others say, he will), but it was definitely a part of being on land that he didn't expect.

He does encourage Floyd to enjoy his land experiences however he wishes, so he's not entirely sure how to approach this subject. They tell each other everything, but-- "Will you be alright, Floyd? Do you have experience with humans like this?"

Jade already completely expects Floyd to fail quota. Not because he doesn't believe he could make it with humans, but because he was basically allergic to rules. Once the candy is popped in Floyd's mouth, Jade's gloved hand extends toward him in the 'give' motion. He expects the rest of the little package of candy. Who knows what they put in those things here?

"Hehh~? Would you rather sweet talk and kiss someone then~? How romantic, Jade~" He teases, but his brother really has been more charismatic than him, so he'd be better suited to that sort of thing anyway. Even so, it's hilarious to imagine him doing all that in this dump.

He's in the middle of melting down the candy on his tongue when Jade poses that question and follows it up with a little wiggle of his fingers. Floyd briefly contemplates playing keep away with the bag, but in the end he heaves a sigh and hands it over without much more fuss. Hm. He's not so sure he likes this flavor. It's kind of... rose-y? Definitely tastes like something in Goldfishy's bedside table.

"Are you worried about me, Jade~? That's so cute." He's feeling especially clingy now, so he tries to wind an arm around his brother's own. "How hard can it be, really?" Which is to say that: no. No, he has zero experience with this sort of thing.

Somehow that answer is surprising. Between the two of them, he had always thought Floyd had 'taken to humans' better than he or Azul ever had. Though perhaps one could argue that Azul was the most human of the three of them.

The loop through his arm is welcomed as he glances up toward the street signs. With the chill of the wind, he finds himself moving closer to the Dominant's side. While cold was no stranger, the snow was still a strange thing. As well as the ice crunching below their feet. "Well, if you are to be my Dominant here I should make sure the both of us make our quota. It wouldn't do if Azul arrived and we were locked up for being disobedient."

Which was probably about the worst way to embarrass himself in front of Azul. ~~Not that Azul would ever fare any better.~~ The candy bag is rolled in his gloved hand as his mismatched eyes move back to his brother. "It seems simple enough, though Orientation made it seem... slightly more complicated. I took thorough notes, so I should be able to guide us through it."

The farthest he's ever gotten with a human is probably some stupid fooling around before he got bored and wandered off for a nap. Unfortunately that's just how it goes with Floyd. One minute he's into it, the next he couldn't care less. Sex won't be any different and that's sure to land him in hot water.

As he thinks about it, he becomes hyperaware of his twin's warmth pressed into his side and leans closer to him out of instinct. Oddly enough, he's reminded of the first few days they wandered on land together. A new world, a new experience. It's exciting, yeah, but also overstimulating.

"We're both suuuper flexible, y'know, so that gives us a leg up already." Literally. Floyd then becomes uncharacteristically quiet for a few beats while he mulls over Jade's words. "Hey. Jade," he finally starts. "Are you gonna practice?"

To think back on the days of wobbly land-legs... it was fascinating that the Mermaid Princess was able to adapt so quickly. Though Jade supposes that Floyd has done so exceptionally well too. While Jade has walking, running, and (shakily) mounting a broom down, Floyd was able to jump and play sports.

It's incredibly endearing to see him thrive. Their bodies are practically glued at the hip now, though that's nothing unusual.

Jade's free hand not juggling the box and the small 'goodie bag' comes up to rub at his own neck. The skin there a touch red from blood rushing to the surface. Perhaps from the cold, or maybe it was that strange sweet from that stall he'd eaten earlier in the day finally catching up with him. "Practice? I doubt it's possible to really practice that sort of thing... I suppose you just do it."

Though something about Floyd mentioning their flexibility does make Jade's back straighten just a tad. "Though if you wanted to, I'm sure we could find a partner."

There's a small pause and Jade opens his mouth as if to add something, but his lips purse back together as his brows furrow just slightly. What was in that marshmallow snowman?

He's always been a bit of a wiggle worm, even under the sea. Especially under the sea. But even after training for a month in that stuffy underwater facility, nothing could have properly prepared him for just how heavy he felt the moment he set foot on land. If it hadn't been for Jade and Azul's pestering (and his new discovery of colorful shoes), he probably would have sunk right back into the waves. Anyway... he's gotten used to it by now. How bright and warm it is, how many different kinds of creatures there are, all the surfaces to jump off of and dance on and--

Distracted, Floyd rubs at his own cheek again, though this time it isn't because of any glitter. It really is warmer than it should be, isn't it? Ugh. How troublesome.

"Nn, I hate practicing." Or at least he doesn't like to think of "doing" as "practice." It sounds so rigid, so mundane. It's like he always says: If you just do it, then you can do it. If he wants to do something, then he'll just... do it. He doesn't have to be the best at it right away. It's how fun the process of getting there is that matters most. Floyd's thought processes are always more jumbled and unique compared to most people's, but Jade usually understands, so he doesn't feel the need to explain himself further than that.

As they continue to head down the street together, Floyd notices his brother pause and slumps against him even more. "Ehh? You were gonna say something, weren't you?" He tugs a bit on Jade's arm. "Tell me, tell me~ It's not nice to keep secrets from your brother~"
