The squeal of the breaks is an unpleasant sound for someone of Geralt’s sensitive hearing to be subjected to, but it never takes long for it to be swallowed up by the hubbub of people standing out of their seats, retrieving their luggage, hushing their children and murmuring amongst themselves. When the commotion starts (and Geralt has noticed it always starts long before they've come to a complete halt), he's quick to join in, rising from his chair and steadying himself with a pole grip. He keeps his other hand free to be used as support should Julian find himself stumbling again.]
