( Peter's tour of Duplicity is ... kind of uncomfortable, to say the least. At seventeen years old (and raised by a single parent) he realises he might not be the most worldly of candidates for the place— let alone a Dominant— but he hadn't expected to be quite so much of a fish out of water as he seems to have ended up.

The whole kink lifestyle thing? Boy-oh-boy has that been eye-opening. The worst of it is that at times he doesn't really know where he's supposed to look: just when he thinks he's slipping into a vaguely familiar environment he'll see a person being used as a table, or a Submissive politely asking permission to purchase some boring, necessary item, and he finds himself floundering again as he tries to paddle his way through the current.

All in all it's pretty exhausting, and by the time the tour reaches its final loop he's ready to leave the train and get a little air. Later on, he'll realise that it's his first experience of the perks of being a Dominant, but right now all he's interested in is finding a sandwich and a big cup of soda. )

Sorry— ( In the lively bustle of Fiddler's Square it might be easy to overlook another loser teen— but Peter persists. He's not above asking the locals for help when it comes to matters of the stomach, and besides, who could say no to those big Bambi eyes? ) Do you know if there's a deli somewhere around here?

( Spoiler: the only kind of sub Peter's interested in is the kind that's six inches of carbs, meat and cheese. )

( Peter's never been to a nightclub before, but it's every bit as loud, hot, smoky and sticky as all those teen movies portray them to be. He's heard whispers that there was something different about this one— that everyone's weird designation wouldn't matter so much at this event— but so far that's not proving to be as freeing as he'd hyped himself up to believe.

On the one hand? Yeah, it's awesome! The music is good, he hasn't been I.D'd, and Subs and Doms can be whoever they want to be. On the other? No one ever told him that clubs are actually kind of a lot, and for someone with senses as sensitive as Peter's it's turning out to be pretty stressful. The heat is stifling, and he can feel every pulse of the bass against his skin, which sets his stomach roiling and has a sickly-looking pallor tinging the usual healthy glow of his skin. He politely declined submitting his name for a special pairing but that hasn't stopped people from taking interest anyway ...

Man, if Ned could see him now. If Tony could see him now. Peter Parker: mistake-maker extraordinaire messing up his first attempt at doing something rebellious and adult. Classic. )

( It's cramped on the dancefloor, and he doesn't realise his trajectory to the outdoor area is a poor one until he's knocking into someone and spilling their drink. )

Oh man, here, let me— ( He looks awkward for a moment, and drags a hand through his messy brown hair out of sheer habit. ) Uh ... can I get you another one?
