( Well that's ... actually a very welcome a turn-around, because all of a sudden the guy seems to deflate as though he's managed to exorcise the demons from his system. Peter can't deny that he's relieved: it isn't as though he can't take a punch, what with his Spidey strength and all that, but he's not necessarily the best at keeping his own hits measured when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Go figure.

Luckily, it doesn't look like it's going to come to that. The man seems almost amiable now— but then he takes it a step further and tries to give him money, which surprises him so much that before he knows it he's standing there with enough cash in his hands for two well-filled subways.
