Forgive me if this is a silly question! So after a character's role as a dom/sub is chosen via the TDM/mods, do they still have to pick a "door" on the application?

I mainly ask in the case that one wanted to use these threads, upon acceptance, as canon.

I was not sure if that was what was meant by "door pass"/linking the TDM in one's application in truth.
